A Little Secret

In a small village, there was a little girl named Lily. Lily lived with her family in a cozy house at the edge of the forest. One day, while playing near the old oak tree, she noticed a small white kitten hiding under the tree. The kitten was trembling, and its fur was wet and sticky.

Lily felt sorry for the kitten. She gently approached it and said, "Hello, little one. Why are you hiding here?" The kitten looked up at her with big, innocent eyes. Lily decided to take the kitten home. She named it "Misha," which means "little bear" in Russian.

Misha quickly became a part of Lily's family. Every morning, Lily would feed Misha warm milk and biscuits. She also taught Misha how to play and be friendly. Misha was very intelligent and always followed Lily everywhere she went.

One day, Lily's parents told her a big secret. They said, "Misha is not just a stray kitten. Her real name is Sophie, and she is actually the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. White, who live in the big house on the other side of the forest." Lily couldn't believe her ears. She had thought Misha was a stray cat, but she was actually a lost child!

From that day on, Lily and Sophie became the best friends. They played together, learned together, and even celebrated Christmas together. Sophie's parents were very grateful to Lily for finding their lost daughter.

Misha (Sophie) always remembered Lily's kindness. Whenever she saw Lily, she would purr softly and rub against her leg. Lily's secret was that she had a special friend—a little kitten who turned out to be a lost child—and together, they learned the true meaning of friendship and love.
