A Little Story in English

Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a kind-hearted girl named Lily. Lily had just moved to a new town and was trying to make new friends. Her neighbor, a boy named Sam, lived next door, but Lily didn't know him well yet.

One day, Lily noticed that Sam was sitting in his garden, looking very sad. His leg was hurt, and he was holding it carefully. Lily felt sorry for him and decided to help. Even though she was new to the area, she approached Sam courageously and asked, "Can I help you, Sam?"

Sam looked surprised but grateful. "Thank you, Lily," he said. "My leg hurts, and I can't walk far. Could you please bring me some ice?"

Lily ran home to get an ice pack and brought it to Sam. She also stayed with him while he iced his leg. They talked and got to know each other better. Lily learned that Sam was shy and didn't have many friends because he was often sick.

From that day on, Lily and Sam became the best of friends. She visited him every day, brought him small gifts, and helped him with anything he needed. Sam's mother was very grateful and soon, the whole village knew about Lily's kindness.

Lily's mother also warmed up to Sam and their family. They spent many happy moments together, and Lily felt like she had found a new home in Sam's family.

And so, Lily and Sam lived happily, proving that kindness and friendship can overcome any obstacle.
